17/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - After Denmark, it is now the turn of France to take over the chairmanship of intergovernmental research network Eureka for one year, commencing 1 July. This is the first time that the organisation will be chaired by someone from the private sector, Jean-Paul Jacamon, former Vice-President of Schneider Electrics. The new chair's priorities will include anchoring Eureka more firmly within the European Research Area.
