17/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has asked its services to carry out a study into the health risks of tattoos and piercings. In a press release published on 17 July, Commissioner Busquin's spokesperson, Fabio Fabbi, asserted that "when health precautions are neglected, these practices can lead to infection".
