04/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - In a resolution on Cambodia adopted on Thursday in Strasbourg, the European Parliament condemned (on the eve of the general elections for 27 July) the violence and acts of intimidation of electors. It called on the Cambodian government to guarantee free and fair elections, without threats or harassment. It regretted that despite the considerable aid grated by the EU that living conditions had got worse in the country.
