Anti-dumping measures decided concerning imports of polyethylene terephthalate and salmon

Brussels, 02/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Union has taken a series of decisions concerning the import of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) from Australia, China and Pakistan and an interim review of the anti-dumping measures applicable to imports of PET from South Korea and Taiwan (see Official Journal C120). The request for the reassessment was lodged by the Association of Plastic Manufacturers in Europe, which alleges dumping and insufficient measures to deal with it.
