Brussels, 30/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission authorised the two following operations by accelerated procedure . Firstly, it has allowed German group E.ON to sell Viterra Energy Services (electrical equipment) to CVC investment fund. Secondly, it has given the green light to Dutch group ING Groep and Portuguese group Sonae Imobiliára SGPS to take joint control of Portuguese company Ascendente SPGS. Sonae Imobiliára previosuly had sole control of Ascendente.
