15/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - French Green, Gérard Onesta, has asserted that the votes of the European Parliament during Thursday's plenary risked being tarnished by irregularity because of the absence of MEPs from the European Convention, who had to go to Brussels for the Convention plenary. He pointed out that their regulation ruled out holding meetings at the same time a important plenary sessions. He also asked if the Convention could have "for once met in Strasbourg".
