ECHO allocates nearly EUR 7 million to Serbia

Brussels, 18/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided to allocate EUR 6.66 million in humanitarian aid to Serbia. The funds, from the ECHO budget (Community's Humanitarian Aid Office) will cover the basic humanitarian needs of some 50,000 displaced persons from Kosovo and 118,000 refugees from Bosnia and Croatia until end 2003.
