14/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - Chris Patten has sent a the President of the European Parliament's Socialist Group, Enrique Baron, a detailed list of "physical damage caused by attacks by the Israeli army on development projects funded by the EU" in Palestine. The sum of EU funding lost in this way is estimated at 24 million euro out of 39, of which 9.5m (out of 16.1) at Gaza Airport. EUROPE will come back to this.
