In the United States, DUPONT (chemicals) is to create a joint venture with BUNGE (food processing) for the production and distribution of food ingredients. Called SOLAE LLC, the new company will be held at 72% by DUPONT and at 28% by BUNGE. It will be specialised in the production of food proteins and is expected to initially generate some $800 million in turnover with 3200 employed.
