08/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - In December the Justice and Home Affairs Council adopted a decision to grant macro-economic assistance of EUR 15 million to Moldavia in the form of a direct loan. The aid will be managed by the European Commission in close collaboration with the Economic and Financial Committee and used to ensure financial stability in the balance of payments in the country.
