EADS can take exclusive control of Astrium

Brussels, 02/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has given the go ahead for the European aerospace and defence systems company EADS to buy BAE Systems' stake in Astrium, a European suppliers of space systems that was set up in 2000. The Commission believes that moving from joint control to sole control will not significantly alter competition in this market.
