13/12/2002 (Agence Europe) the President of Albania, Yugoslavia, Bosnia, Croatia and Macedonia have said in a joint letter that they are expecting the conclusions of the Copenhagen European Council to contain a "reference to the accession of our countries to the EU" and deepen the ongoing democratic and reform process (see EUROPE 12 December p 6) in connection to an appeal made by parliamentarians from Balkans and the Caucasus in this sense.
