13/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the Permanent Representatives Committee (Coreper) postponed its approval for the Council's common position on the draft directive on the initial qualification and continued training for drivers of certain lorries used in freight and passenger transport. The United Kingdom made a formal request for a scrutiny examination and Coreper will examine the common position once reservations have been lifted.
