GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/biotechnology

10/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Commission presented its first report on the implementation of the 1998 Directive on legal protection of biotechnological inventions, and announced that a group of experts would be meeting from November to study the controversial subjects in this area. The Directive has only been transposed by six Member States. EUROPE will come back to this.
