03/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - According to estimates published by Eurostat on 2 October, the euro-zone and EU15 industrial producer price index increased by 0.1% in August 2002 compared with the previous month. The energy sector registered the highest rises in both zones with an increase of 0.4% compared to July. In annual terms (August 2002/August 2001) industrial prices fell by 0.2% in the Euro-zone and by 0.3% in the EU15.
