25/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - British Conservative Jonathan Evans launched on 25 September a campaign for abolishing European Parliament sessions in Strasbourg. The MEP, who calls for the Parliament's work to be concentrated "in one place", notes in a press release a report from the EP Secretariat General which affirms that "the costs of providing a dispersed European Parliament in excess of 200m, about 16% of the Parliament's total budget".
