26/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of the Johannesburg Summit, Greenpeace International published its annual report in which the environmental defence association urges governments to do everything in their power to put a stop to environmental damage to the planet. The United States, which does not show much respect for such concerns in that it does not wish to ratify the Kyoto Protocol, is the main target of the report (available on website: http: //www//greanpeace.org ).
