31/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has published two communications in the Official Journal C181 of 30 July concerning the air alliances United Airlines-Lufthansa/SAS, on one hand, and KLM/Northwest Airlines, on the other. It points out that it "plans to adopt a positive stance" towards these partnerships and proposes that third parties submit their observations within the month following publication in the OJ before finally closing the matter.
