Brussels, 05/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - Denmark is proposing to give public access to certain EUROPOL documents and increasing the European Parliament's consultative role. COREPER has not yet discussed the substance of this draft Protocol to amend the Europol Convention (it was presented to COREPER on Thursday), but has authorized its publication and called on the European Parliament and EUROPOL's management committee to give their views on it before 1 December 2002.
