Brussels, 07/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - During their debate this morning on the role of the national parliaments, the Members took a stance above all for "improvements in the system, and the fine-tuning of certain practices", said Valéry Giscard d'Estaing on Friday as he closed the first plenary session of the Convention targeted on specific themes (see above for the JHA themes).
