29/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - During the inauguration of the new representation for the region of Campania in Brussels, in presence of the president of the region, Antonio Bassolino, Commission President Romano Prodi reaffirmed that the Commission plans to strengthen contacts with the regions which would thus, in a certain way, become "consuls of the European institutions".
