France condemned for having failed to put in place complete waste management policy on its territory

Luxembourg, 15/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Justice has condemned France for having failed to provide waste management plans for all its in all départements as European directives oblige it to. France is condemned as it has failed to: - establish waste management plans for all its territory; - draw up for certain regions and départements waste plans for waste containing polychlorobiphenyls (PCB), for health care waste and special household waste.
