ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

Italian group LUCCHINI and its Spanish competitor SIDENOR have signed an agreement with the aim of setting up a European holding, merging its different activities in the steel sector that has been traditionally concentrated in the engineering and car industry. It has an estimated annual turnover of EUR 1.2 billion and employs 6,200 workers.
