09/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - In response to an article published in The Times on the effort deployed by Tony Blair in his approach to President Bush in order to have certain British steel products exempted from the 30% duty imposed by Washington, a European Commission spokesman said on Tuesday that he did "not know of any agreements" of this kind, and that London had supported the Commission's strategy regarding American measures.
