18/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - Eight European companies joined forces on Monday to create "Galileo services", organising cooperation on the market for development of applications for the European satellite navigation project. The eight firms are Eutelsat, Thales, Telespazio, FDC, Hispasat, Indra, Kongsberg and Septentrio (which designs and distributes GNSS receivers).
