Strasbourg, 12/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - A fight is looming on Wednesday, during the vote in plenary on two reports on the liberalisation of the energy market: the Turmes/Rapkay report on amending the 1996 and 1998 directives on the internal market for natural gas and electricity, and Mombaur report on the draft regulation concerning access conditions to the grid for the cross-border trade in electricity (see summaries of both reports in EUROPE of 28 February, p.12).
