Green light for repayable advance to SNECMA

Brussels, 28/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to authorise the proposed grant by France of a EUR 102 million repayable advance to SNECMA for its participation in the development of two new jet engines for civilian aircraft: the GE90-115 and the GP7000. The Commission found the proposal compatible with the EU framework for state aid for research and development.
