22/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - President Prodi and Commissioner Poul Nielson have announced to Burundi's President, Pierre Buyoya, who was on visit to the Commission, an overall plan of EUR 17.5 million for 2002 in order to pursue the humanitarian assistance programme for displaced persons and for the most vulnerable population groups of this ACP country that has suffered from civil unrest since 1993.
