22/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - Klaus Klaiber, European Union Special Envoy to Afghanistan, declared on Thursday, after a meeting in Teheran with the Iranian Foreign and Home Affairs Ministers, that "Iran is participating in setting up the an international police force in Afghanistan" and that "without Iran's help, reconstruction of Afghanistan would fail".
