Brussels, 07/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - As EUROPE mentioned on 7 February (p.18), Commissioner Viviane Reding presented in Salt Lake City on Thursday the new athlete's passport, with, notably, Richard Pound, President of the World Anti-Drugs Agency (WADA). To introduce this athlete's passport (paper document which complements an electronic version and access to a database: http: //http://www.wadapassport.org ), in co-operation with national anti-drugs agencies, the Olympic Federation and the Committee of Athletes of the International Olympic Committee, WADA invested 400,000 euro, 300,000 of which from the European Commission.
