BT - BRITISH TELECOM and the US company AT&T have decided on the break-up of their joint venture, CONCERT, set up in 1998 to supply telecommunications services to big corporate customers. Their decision will lead to the loss of 2300 jobs (from the 4000-strong workforce), half of them in the United Kingdom.
