09/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The economic confidence indicator in the euro-zone and in the Union of Fifteen remained at its lowest level for three years in September, the European Commission said on Tuesday. At 100.1 (euro-zone) and 100.3 (EU15), it has not changed since the month of August. After the events of 11 September, a further fall would not have been surprising, but the survey was largely conducted before the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.
