09/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Business Climate Indicator (BCI) in the euro zone has continued its fall begun a little over a year ago, going from -0.46 in August to -0.57 in September (against -0.37 in July). The Commission considers that this tendency reflects negative growth in industrial production in the zone and states that 85% of the data taken into account to calculate the latest BCI was gathered before 11 September. In June 2000, the BCI was +1.77.
