Brussels, 11/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - Marilies Flemming, MEP from the Austrian People's Party, invited experts to Brussels, where the European Parliament would be organising a hearing this year with NGOs and countries neighbouring Austria on the problem of the Temelin reactor. In a press release Ms Flemming stated that she was "deeply disappointed" by the reaction of Prague to another request by MEPs to close the reactor down. The Parliament will obtain the information it needs, warned Ms Flemming, who added that she was sure that Czech experts would attend the hearing. She also announced that she would be raising the issue at a meeting with the Czech Environment Minister, Mr Kuzart, on 29 October in Prague.
