ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

Belgium's AVIABEL, specialised in aircraft insurance, has announced the purchase of the Dutch firm DE NEDERLANDSE LUCHTVAARTPOOL (NLP) for its business in the field of general aviation. NPL will provide AVIABEL with an additional turnover of some 8 million euro. AVIABEL's turnover amounted to over 46 million euro in 2000.
