The Belgo-German group AGFA-GEVAERT, specialised in photography and imagery, has just announced the acquisition of the German SEIFERT and American PANTAK, two companies active in real-time imagery. The cost of the transaction has not been communicated. SEIFERT and PANTAK are specialised in X-ray equipment and systems. The former had a turnover in 2000 of over 30 million euro, the latter a turnover of $13 million. AGFA-GEVAERT's turnover is 5.26 billion euro.
