Brussels, 17/08/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner for Agriculture, Franz Fischler has strongly criticised the decision taken by the Bush Administration to grant $5.5 billion in aid to farmers, noting that this aid, granted for the fourth consecutive year, provides additional assistance to American farmers to a grand total of $30 billion since 1998.
