PEREGRINE SYSTEMS ($565 million turnover in 2000), American publisher specialized in asset management software, has announced the purchase of its rival REMEDY ($288 million turnover in 2000) for $1.08 bn in cash and shares. REMEDY shareholders will receive $9 and 0.9065 PEREGRINE shares for each of their own.
