BT - BRITISH TELECOM has sold 44% of its shares in BHARTI CELLULAR SERVICES, a mobile phone company, to the Indian group BHARTI for $140.2 million, the latter already holding a 66% stake. BHARTI CELLULAR leads the mobile phone sector in New Delhi with 350,000 subscribers.
