11/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - In Paris Friday evening, there was to be an informal dinner between French President Jacques Chirac and Prime Minister Lionel Jospin, accompanied by Foreign minister Hubert Vedrine, and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder accompanied by Foreign minister Joschka Fischer. This meeting, the third of its kind launched on 31 January last in Alsace, was to enable them to prepare the next European rendez-vous, and especially the Gothenburg Summit.
