GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/environment

11/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission proposed introducing sulfur-free petrol and diesel in each EU Member State from 1 January 2005, so as to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. EUROPE will return in full to this proposed amendment to the 1998 Directive on environmental specifications applicable to fuels marketed in the EU.
