10/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Members of the Youth Forum is protesting against the proposal to cut the 2002 budget of the Council of Europe for "Youth and Sport" by 3% (following a 5% cut in 2001). In a separate development, the Forum (representing 91 youth organisations in Europe) elected Kim Svendsen as its new General Secretary.
