ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banks

The BANQUE DE L'AQUITAINE (net results of FF 11 million in 2000, with 80 employees and 6 branches) will be brought into the Belgo-Dutch banking group FORTIS, which has a 90% stake in it. FORTIS is offering EUR 92 per share to buy the remaining 10% of the bank.
