The French group USINOR has joined the French industrial glass and insulation company SAINT-GOBAIN in setting up a building material company to make sandwich panels in steel and mineral wool in Charleroi, Belgium. The new company, created by the USINOR CONSTRUCTION division and the insulation branch of SAINT GOBAIN, will have EUR 2.5 million in capital, 72% of which in the hands of USINOR and 28% held by the insulation branch of its partner.
