Brussels, 29/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Leaders of the European Peoples' Party will hold a special summit in Sofia on 5 April, to demonstrate their support for the Bulgarian efforts to prevent "another bloody war in the Balkans" and their solidarity for the reforming government of Ivan Kostov, lead by a party, the Union of democratic forces, member of the EPP, asserts a press release.
The press release specifies that the participants in the summit will want to assure that Bulgaria will not be left of the sidelines after the next EU accession round. The Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski is also expected in Sofia.
