ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

A consortium formed of the French public group EDF INTERNATIONAL and its German subsidiary ENERGIE BADEN-WUERTTENBERG signed an agreement with the Polish Treasury covering the acquisition of 35% of the Polish power station in Rybnik for USD 120 million. The consortium undertook to acquire, in the next twelve months, an additional 15% for USD 51.6 million.
