The Dutch electronics group PHILIPS signed an agreement with the Mexican conglomerate AXA to the acquisition of its lighting activities for railways of the Mexican LUMISISTEMAS and the Brazilian HELFONT, leaders in their respective markets. These companies, complementary to PHILIPS ECLAIRAGE, employ 1,600 people and record an average cumulated annual turnover of USD 80 million.
