British BG GROUP is to sell its 24.5% stake in PHOENIX NATURAL GAS to the water company EAST SURREY HOLDINGS for the sum of £49.7 million. BG GROUP will, however, remain a majority shareholder with 51% of the capital, the remaining 24.5% being held by American KEYSPAN CORP.
