09/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - On 20 February, the European Commission gave a favourable opinion to the plan to dismantle the Wurgassen (North Rhineland Westphalia) nuclear power station, feeling that the discharging of radioactive effluent from the dismantling should not lead to any significant radioactive contamination. The opinion is published in Official Journal C72.
