09/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The office of the European Parliament Socialist group decided, on Wednesday, to create a "horizontal" working group on the reform of the common agricultural policy. A first meeting is planned for 15 March in Strasbourg. The establishment of this working group, whose chair is entrusted to the Greek Giorgios Katiforis, follows on from a proposal by the Dutch Vice-President of the group, Max van den Berg.
